Golf GTI 8V Engine Blueprint — A2 Art Print

The engine that started it all. The 1.8 8-valve — the single-cam heart of the original GTI — the one that made “hot hatch” a category rather than a compromise. Simple, revvy, unkillable, and the soundtrack a whole generation of drivers grew up on.

This is that engine rendered as a workshop blueprint: every casting, belt run and ancillary drawn out in cream line-work over deep Type 19 teal, wrapped with engineer’s callouts and a torque table. Not a photograph — a draughtsman’s tribute to the motor that put the badge on the map.
