The factory plug lead pulls on every Mk2 Golf 16v GTI hardened and cracked with age — VW discontinued them years ago, and good used examples sell for more than they should. We reproduce them in-house, one-to-one with the original 054 905 448 pattern.

  • Sprung top grip identical to the factory item — press-fit over the spark plug cap / lead junction

Why they fail

The lead pulls sit directly over the cam cover, inches from the exhaust manifold. After three decades of heat cycling the original ABS hardens, goes brittle, and cracks at the sprung arch. Most Mk2 16v restorations need a full set of four.
